Digital Skills Assignment 1 (PowerPoint)

The presentation should be a "brainstorming" or "final project outline." In other words, you will summarize in this slide show what your final project is going to cover and what will it include--both in terms of textual content (analysis, critique) and multimedia (photos, videos...). Outline the main issues you will cover in your final project (read the directions for the final project before you select a topic).

You must have at least 10 slides, with at least one of the following:

• A title slide.
• An introduction slide.
• A slide with bullet points that appear "on-click."
• A slide with a photo and another with a graphic (other than an excel graph).
• A slide with an excel graphic that appears (animated) one category at a time.
• A slide with more than two text fields (at least three).
• A slide with a background image and text that has a semi-transparent background to enhance contrast.
• A slide with two objects "grouped" together and animated to appear simultaneously.

In addition, must have:

• At least three three custom shows.
• At least one link to another slide.
• At least one link to an external url.

Feel free to use any bells and whistles, as long as they fit the theme of your presentation and add to its content (so, don't only use them for decoration or simply because you know how. They need to have some function or add to the message). Your images also must match the content and relate to the points you are making.

You must follow the PowerPoint and graphic design principles covered in class. Be creative!
